PHASE 1

Stage 1 of the Big Conversation is all about creating opportunities for people to express the aspirations, questions, ideas and issues that concern them. What follows below is a list of ideas that can be used to stimulate this process. Not all of the ideas listed here will work in every context. The secret to drawing people into the Big Conversation is to think about your community and then consider which of these would work for you. Feel free to take a risk and have a go with an idea, because you never quite know what will motivate people to be involved.
